Chibitronics and Honey Bee stamps collaboration week

Today is world cardmaking day!

Today I make light up shaker card.




I used these stamps, dies and embellishment.
"Bee-You-Tiful Sentiments"
"Busy Bees"
"Diamonds"


"Hexagon Solid Stack"
"Hexagon Cover Plate Top"


What you need to make a light up card is like this.
"Red, Yellow and Blue LED Stickers Pack"
"3V coin cell battery"(CR2032)
"5mm wide Copper tape"


The used cardstocks are here.
"Neenah 80lb smooth solar white card stock"
"Perfect Match Bright Buttercup Cardstock"
"Perfect Match True Black Cardstock"
"Darice Foamies® Foam Sheet White 2mm thick"
"Darice Foamies® Foam Sheet White 3mm thick"
"Hot off the press Heat Resistant Acetate"
"White vellum paper"


The used inks and markers are here.
"Tsukineko memento tuxedo black"
"Tsukineko StazOn jet black"
"Copic sketch markers YR04 YR07 C1"


Die cut a yellow cardstock with three sizes of hexagonal dies.


Die cut a white cardstock with the small hexagonal die.


Place yellow cardstock over card base, and trace hexagonal outline.


Die cut yellow cardstock with the hexagon cover plate top die.


Die cut a yellow cardstock with four sizes of hexagonal dies.


Die cut a 3mm thick foam sheet with five sizes of hexagonal dies.
Die cut a 2mm thick foam sheet with two sizes of hexagonal dies.


Die cut a heat resistant acetate with two sizes of hexagonal dies.


Partical die cut a folded white cardstock with a hexagonal dies.


Stamp the bee, flower and heart using Tsukineko Memento Tuxedo Black ink.


Stamp the bees using StazOn Jet Black ink.


Stamp the sentiment using Tsukineko Memento Tuxedo Black ink.


Cut the center of the flowers, the bee's body and the heart with a craft knife.


I'm putting cover panel on white cardstock and marking my lights with a pencil.


Coloring with copics.


Adhere vellum paper on the back of the cover panel.


Adhere the die-cut panel on the cover panel.


Mark the Chibitronics and adhere the paper for the switch at the position of the battery.
Draw the circuit with a pencil.


Cut a 5 mm wide copper foil tape in half the width and adhere the copper tape on the drawing path.


Adhere the red and yellow Chibitronics on the mark.
Adhere the 2mm and 3mm thick foam frame around the switch.

Adhere the sentiment part on the foam frame.


Adhere two hexagonal foam frames on the cover panel.


Put the diamond shaped embellishment in the frame.


Adhere the acetate sheets on the frame.


Adhere the yellow frames on the acetate sheet.


Adhere the foam tape around the card base and adhere the cover panel on the card base.


Adhere the cover panel on the black cardstock.

 I finished it!
